Requirements :
- Basic R425 (i.e. diploma / degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse and proof of current registration.
Duties :
- Provision of quality clinical nursing care within legal and ethical framework.
- Implement cost-containment measures to ensure efficient utilization of human material and financial resources.
- Perform clinical community mental health services in the district in accordance with scope of practice and nursing standards determined by the district.
- Provide support and training to health care staff to ensure integration of primary psychiatric and mental health care in primary health care services.
- Work as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with other key stakeholders (inter-professional and intersectoral).
- Participate in mental health promotion and mental illness prevention activities.
- Maintain professional, ethical standards and self-development.
- Display a concern for patients, promoting, advocating proper treatment and care, and show willingness to respond to patient’s needs, requirements and expectations.

- The experience on the Curriculum Vitae must contain the institution, position and dates (DD/MM/YYYY) indicating the starting and ending period to be able to calculate the years of experience.
- The information on the new Z83 must be in sync/correspond with the Curriculum Vitae.
